Necole Williams, the owner of Noir Wear is a native of Jackson, Ms. Ready to start a new journey she chose Houston, Tx in 2016 or rather it chose her. She has always known that she had something to say but after speaking with people about the unfair treatment that black people received was unacceptable. So Necole decided to create a brand of apparel that featured powerful messages of history events, leaders, and quotes that would spark people to have those much needed conversations. It would be called Noir (or noire) which is the french word for black. Noir Wear launched in 2019 and has been receiving recognition from all over the world and embracing the slogan, "THE TIME IS NOW." The logo used is called a FAWOHODIE. An African symbol meaning independence, freedom, and emancipation.
